February 2009

My kid brother is getting cuter every day....
But you don't want to get too close to him when he's trying to eat.

January 2009

Holy crap, are you kidding me? I turned 4 already, and went to Disneyland to celebrate with the princesses. Which one is the real princess? I'm pretty sure you all know that I'm the real one, so treat me like it!

Has it really been almost a year?

I'll pick a picture or two of the month until I get caught up. It's been kind of crazy!

Signs of Fall

First Day of School!!
Well, another summer has come and gone and fall is here. I'm pretty quick, and I knew that Mom was up to something pretty big. Turns out, she signed me up for pre-school. She says it is because I'm a big girl now, but I think she just wants me out of her hair for a few hours a week.

It's pretty cool so far. I already know how to count and write my name, so hanging around with a few other kids and learning new things isn't so bad. I haven't learned how to share very well yet, but I have been on my best behavior and am making so many new friends.
Another great thing about fall, is Halloween! I can't wait to get all that candy! I'm now in the full swing of "the princess years" and will be a princess. More on that phase later... I did get to go with Mommy and friends to the pumpkin patch, so here's a few pictures from that fun day.

On the train with Faith, Will, and Miss Kim...

Here we are in the pumkin patch, but Ryan wanted no part of this picture.

Ryan and Will were getting some work done on the tractors.

Now, the number one reason why I can tell it is fall... is that rite of passage that happens only in October.

Much like Charlie Brown trying to kick the football...

It is time for the Angels to try to beat the Red Sox in the playoffs. But once again, the Red Sox kicked the crap out of the Angels, and Daddy is happy.

"Oops, can I say 'crap' Daddy?"

"Ah, usually not, but its ok this one time."

So anyway, here is a picture of Ryan representing all that is good about October. Except for the candy, but we'll see that soon enough.

Go Red Sox!

Disneyland!!

Hi! Daddy ditched work on Friday, and we went to Disneyland!! We started off kinda soft, with that kiddie Nemo ride, then hung around in Toon Town for a while.
Then we had a nice healthy lunch!!

After lunch, we tried to make sure we could hold it down by going on the tea cups!
After that, we started going on some more of the big kids rides. We went on Splash Mountain! Not once, not twice, but 3 times! And Pirates of the Caribbean - twice! And after that, it was game on because I found out I was tall enough to go on just about every ride there is! So what if I'm only 3 and a half, I am fearless! Well, almost fearless...

Space Mountain. Yes, Space Mountain.

So I looked a little scared, but I wasn't... I asked to go again, but once I did so good on Space Mountain, I decided that I was ready to see the Abominable Snowman on the Matterhorn ride. Sorry, no photos available, but we went on that 3 times too!

So, for the grand finale - I was allowed to pick either the Dumbo Ride, or Big Thunder Mountain. Guess what I picked? Yep, Big Thunder Mountain - 3 times! I loved it! I wanted to go 10 more times! Check it out!

Here I am waiting for the train to come... Then, after we rode the first time, daddy showed me where the billy goat stays on top of the mountain - so when you watch the video - that's what I was asking about. Enjoy, I did!

And, after 11 hours at the Happiest Place on Earth, it was time to go home.

Even More Summer Fun

Here I am swimming with my friend Faith.

Summer Fun

Well, summer has come and is almost gone, and I haven't had much time to update everyone on our adventures. Here's what we've all been up to!

Daddy turned 40 and wore a funny hat to celebrate. I'm not sure how old that is, so I kept asking him, "How old will I be when I'm 40? When will I be 40?"

Then, right after Daddy went over the hill, Ryan turned one. He had a few birthday parties and made a big mess of it!

Here I am at the waterpark with Halimah, where we celebrated Ryan's birthday - again! Check out my bandage.... it was pretty cool, I fell on the trampoline at tumbles class, cut my leg, and hadto get stitches.

We celebrated the 4th of July at the crazy golf tournament that Daddy plays in with Uncle Bill, and got to spend some time with Duke and Breann.

and spent some time at the beach collecting shells and playing in the sand.

So then, my cousin's came to town in late July...

and we got to do all kinds of fun stuff!

More summer fun...

We took the train to San Diego, went to the Zoo to see the monkeys, and spent some time at the beach. Kara and Kayla are the best, we had so much fun! Even though they went home a couple months ago, I still ask when they're coming back all the time.

Then a week later, we went to the Padre game and had a ball - and a hot dog, and soda, and licorice, and peanuts.... oh yeah, and don't forget the monkey faces.

My cousins from Arizona came over for an afternoon at the Waterpark, then we drove my Escalade around and played around.

Baby Brother and Me

Aside from all the summer fun, visits, and adventures, I've been spending a lot of time with my best buddy and favorite playmate, Ryan. Sure, I rough him up quite a bit, but I do love him to pieces. Here's some pictures of us playing around.

That boy sure is cute!

Along Came Andrew

Guess what?! I have a new baby! Well, my Auntie Chris and Uncle Brian have a new baby, his name is Andrew. I'm pretty sure that he came along just so that I'd have another baby to love. All I wanted to do the first time I saw him was hold him, hold him, hold him. He sleeps a lot now, but I can't wait until me, Ryan, and Andrew are all running around causing trouble at Mimi Marcia's and Papa Bob's house.

Here I am holding him for the first time.

Ryan likes milk... sort of.

Hey, it's me, Ryan.
Now that I'm one, it's time for me to kick the formula. You thought gas was expensive? Try baby formula. My formula is 28 bucks a gallon, smells like crap, but I love it. I'm trying out this milk stuff now in small doses, and trying to get used to a sippy cup. So far, so good, I spill a little bit, but you be the judge...

Yum!!
